Hokkai literal Japanese translation means the North Sea which is a family brand that became reality in Hokkaido prefecture Sapporo, Japan and North Tacoma, Washington. The brand was founded in 2018 by both Ferron Suratos and his wife. Ferron who is originally from the Philippines and moved to the PNW in his teen years and his wife who is traditionally from Japan decided to start up the brand to celebrate urban and cultural diversity through sustainable clothing.

All failure should be taken as an opportunity for growth. This is the creed in which F.S. has stated is what him and his wife's brand is about. It's about risk, overcoming and reaching personal goals without constraint of outside expectations.
