Mission Statement of GCC

Grit City Clothing™ and its subsidiary properties pay homage to Tacoma and the individuals in the community which claim it as home. It is a city that faced adversities in the Great Depression, social issues, injustices and crime but with great strides in almost two decades has seen a reversal. Alive again and thriving, the once gray city skyline, Tacoma is adding color to life and meaning for which it stands.

Within all brand principles, the foundation for the companies is to be loyal and selfless towards others but also be relentless in the pursuit of your dreams and assertive to your desires. We believe these ethos to be true and encourage everyone to always dream big and achieve greater as the end goal.

As small start up brands we believe in equality, teamwork, striving to be better than yesterday and giving back to our community. In addition, we also believe in hardiness and steadfast applied in our ethos as we embark on building a better Tacoma through dance and music culture and holding onto the very fabric that makes Tacoma unique by design.
